Mandy has a selective practice working with results and goal oriented, intelligent and successful people and their families like military service members, veterans, first responders and their families to overcome personal and professional challenges with skill development and compassion to help them meet their personal and professional goals. 

Mandy is earning her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Military Families. Mandy enjoys working with high functioning, professional people to recognize their strengths and empowers them to strengthen their skills, manage stress and perfectionism, develop and hone their preferred coping mechanisms, learn to develop, get in touch with, properly express and manage emotions, build and strengthen their personal and professional relationships, and set and achieve personal and professional goals. 

Mandy’s areas of interest are:

  • Military service members and their families

  • Veterans and their families

  • First responders and their families

  • Athletes

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Depression

  • Relationship Building (Gottman Level 1 Trained)

Mandy was born in Grand Island, NE while her father was stationed there on recruiting duty with the Marine Corps. She grew up in Nebraska, Arizona and Texas. Mandy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics and a minor in Biology from Texas Tech University. Mandy is currently a student at Northcentral University in their online COAMFTE accredited Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program with a specialization in Military Families. Mandy is very active with her current university, currently serving as the President/Student Chair of Delta Kappa, Iota Chapter, the international honor society for Marriage and Family Therapy and as the Newsletter Chair for the Marriage and Family Sciences Student Association. Mandy enjoys going for walks with her dog, tending her garden, cooking and baking and other general crafty pursuits for fun and to unwind at the end of the day. 

FEE SCHEDULE:  Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.  Together, the client and counselor will make decisions concerning how often and for how long they should meet.  Payment is due in full at each session and either personal checks or credit/debit cards are accepted.

Diagnostic & Evaluation Session:                                               $50.00/hour                                   
Regular Office Visit (50 minutes):                                              $50.00/hour    
Outside Office Work (including but not limited to:                   $50.00/hour
inpatient visits, court, collaborative law services)
Written Reports (supervisors, compliance officers, etc):              $50.00/hour
Returned Check Fee:                                                                  $40.00/per check

PAYMENT/INSURANCE FILING:  Payment of fees is expected at the time of each appointment.  Mandy does not accept insurance, however if requested, a monthly receipt may be provided.
